Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress that is most well-known in Canada for the role as Bo. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk both were professors. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. Silk is the Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is a bit of a child with most fond memories of watching TV and attending play rehearsals. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for children. She was in 1997 when she graduated with a bachelor's degree at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was engaged in two of the early stage productions, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk was a resident of Toronto to pursue her acting career in order to advance, then to Los Angeles California. She met her future husband, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's workshop in Los Angeles in 2007. When she got engaged in 2008, they were married in the year 2009. After she had converted to Judaism and they renewed their wedding vows at the Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk had a son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born baby on May 13, 2016. Silk's work on television includes her role in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland for which she won a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009, she was cast as the role of Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during final production of the season 3 finale. She announced the news to viewers in Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that she was ready to return to her work. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially declared the start of final season of production. CNN named Bo's portrayal alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about TV couples ever. E! voted it as top TV couple of 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most watched shows on social media.
